Serial number of product not showing up when registering

Couldnt register my product because the serial number didnt show any model associated with it.
I called them and they promptly registered it for me.
So I have no real complaints so far.
Customer service was very helpful.

As much as the customer service rep wanted to help me, we could not resolve the issue due to the fact that I cannot take a picture of the flame shield to send to customer service. My campground is closed till April 13 and that is where the smoker is.

I love my Austin XL 1000 smoker and I want to continue using it without eating food with rust flakes on it. Lol.

Any help in this matter before I get to camp would be greatly appreciated. Pit Boss Customer Service is absolutely the best in all my experiences I have had with the company.

First the gas side of the grill stopped working. Then, the next week, the pellet side stopped working.

Last week I turned on the gas grill and was totally amazed that the gas bottle I installed the week before was empty. I installed another full bottle and the grill lit, but with very small flames, which were inadequate for cooking.

I called the the customer service line. They were very helpful and said that they would replace the gas supply hose along with the regulator. FINE! Now, this week the pellet grill stopped working.

I started the pellet grill, set the temp to 350 degrees. After 30 minutes, the temp was 175 degrease. After 5 more minutes, the temp was 165 degrease!!!

I am very upset, and don't give that damp pellet auger clogging BS. This the 2020's.

The lady I spoke with her name is CARRIE was very professional and Knowledgeable. I'm hoping the meat probes that she sent me are the answer to my problem.

I'm getting the NOP error message on my control panel. The meat probes that came with my Pit Boss are not working. Hopefully this will fix my issue.

If NOT I will be calling back for more help to resolve the NOP error message display. Thank You
