Memphis bbq

Hello my mame is Dave Zoryk and I purchased a Pit Boss Memphis about a month a half or 2 months ago from Walmart at the Gloucester mall in Ottawa Ontario. Today I used my Pit Boss and I noticed that on the back of my grilling station which is the propane side the paint was just peeling off from the back of the unit. I love my Pit Boss and I dont want to return it but I really would like to know what you can do for me. I didnt register my Pit Boss online and Im a little aggravated because I cant find my receipt. What can I do on my end to prove that the item was purchased?

Err display on smoker

I have a pit boss 340 (I think that's the model) I am showing an "err" message when I turn it on. Looking through the manual I have checked and cleaned the connections from the temp probe, through the spade connectors and then the board. All looks fine so I suspect it is the "temp probe" itself. Does that make sense or is there any other test I can do to ensure my thoughts? If it seems accurate can you give me a part number please? Thanks in advance Happy Jenkins

Grill not operating appropriately

To whom it my concern, I brought a PB820D -serial number DH728201****09 =Wood Pellet Grill from Lowes on November 5, 2018. I have only cooked on the grill about 5 times. The reason for this is because the first cook went fine but the cooks after that had consistent issues mainly with the difficulties with the temperature control. For example, I would have the grill set for smoke and the temp would shoot up to 400 to 450 and I would also see excessive fire in the fire pit. Each grilling session, I followed the instructions insured the grill was clean even tried to set the P setting to control the temperature but nothing has worked. Also, if I increased the temp of the grill to 300 or greater the grill would run hot and shut off and also if I try to go through the final cleaning process the grill would shut down due to stating it was overheated. I can only keep the grill running if it is on smoke or no greater than 250, which still promoted fluctuations in the temp but any thing higher would shut the grill down. My last two grilling sessions, I followed the instructions for the grill to shut it down and even though I could not do the 10 minute burn off, I left it on smoke, (which was still running high) then after 10 minutes, I turned the grill off but it continue to operate until I go frustrated and just had to unplug the grill from the socket. This is very frustrating and not what I was expecting when I brought this grill. The final frustrating issue for me is that I have been on hold for almost 2 hours with your customer service department. If someone can please me, it would be greatly appreciated. Temperature not staying set

You all have sent me different parts which I replaced, but still temperature does not stay set. I have used my smoker a total of 5 times and have not used it since 2019. Smoker has been sitting there since, I am hoping for a resolution, apparently its sitting with a manager to decide. Still waiting.

i just received my pitt boss austin xl i ordered from walmarrt today, tried calling customer service at 6 pm left call back number nobody ever called back. my bottom shelf was so bent up leg would not fasten to it , i need a replacement shelf sent to me before i can put it together and use it.

ErH error

I purchased the Pit Boss 3 series on 06/20/2020. I have used it 3 times and worked fine. I used the heat setting at 275 and worked fine. I bumped it up to 350 on my 4th time to use and after 1 1/2 hours it threw the error ErH. I had the damper full open and the water tray on the last tray setting to the bottom of the pellet box. After letting it cool off i tried to run it and the temp kept rising until it errored out again. I tried this a few times but the same thing happened. Seems to me the temp probe or something malfunctioned and wont regulate the heat. Help with this problem will be greatly appreciated because my family and I love the meat this puts out.

Customer service

Have been trying for over a month to contact pitboss by phone and email and know one had contacted me back. Have a brand new pitboss that I used once and now there is no power. Very upset with there customer service.

New grill brought Nov. 2019, used two months ( smoked /grill 8-9 times ) Self repaired two times. Parts ordered 4-5 months ago, just told 4 more weeks. Agent very nice after getting on the phone with a 40-minute wait. I requested something to be done very soon even a replacement with prorated price willing to pay whatever it takes. I have missed the entire grilling season and holiday season with a broken grill,,back with my gas grill. I would think that your company could give me some type of significant discount I would like some feedback from upper. management on this please.

Grill and smoker issue

After paying $600 on the 4 in 1 pit boss three months ago. I had to call within a week because the smoker didnt work so the sent me a new heating coil. Smoker still doesnt work and all of the handles and hooks are already breaking. I have called several times and have had no luck talking to anyone. At this point its time for them to send a new replacement. Hopefully they will call me back. We have left our number three times.

Lighter for my grill

Ive been waiting for the minimum of 6-8 weeks and I called 2 weeks ago and was told parts came in the week before that but orders hadnt been been worked yet but I should have my part the next week and still nothing I call and leave my number and no call back

Non compliance to a call

I have had a pit boss kc combo for less than 6 weeks. I had a problem with it. I call at 3:00 pm eastern standard time. I had to leave a call back number. I didn't get a response by 6, so I called back. There was a recording that said they were closed. They closed at 8 Pacific time. I am pretty good with math. So if I called at 6 eastern, that would be 3 pm Pacific. So either they stopped answering phones 5 hours early or they lied. Either way I have an $1100.00 smoker that is no use to me. Don't waste your money with these guys. If this is the future of American products, we are in trouble. I will not rate the service. I have to get service to rate it.

Problems with support and the grill

Your support number says you are open from 6-5 pacific. Which means by my time you should be open 8-7. And yet your machine says its closed. Having a problem with log in to the site won't send me a temporary password. And to top it off the damn grill is boken after about 6 uses. Guess what i am not thrilled at rhis moment.

Cant connect my Lockhart Platinum smoker to my android phone

The directions say to go to an app that supports only APPLE/ my phone is an android Galaxy Note9. How do you get to the right app that allows you to connect my phone to my Platinum Lockhart.

One Month No contact from Pit Boss

Pit Boss sold me a defective and missing part grill. No problem things happen but I have sent 5 emails one a week for the last month plus THE COMPANY ONLY RESPONSE (Auto Reponse) We are too busy to respond because it is grilling season. WOW. How can Wal Mart continue to sell their product when the company will not make contact on warrantee claims going on 5 weeks.
